All of this is refutable. There is no true hard facts. We must always remeber that Chavez has too much money (witch he handles with no control from the national assembley or central bank) and he uses it to create a differnt picture of what is really going on.

Chomsky is smart enough not to make sweeping generalizations that Chávez's Légion étrangère are so quick to utter. His opening is quite accurate, actually: "There have been some changes. I don’t think they’re dramatic."
